Ahhhh! I’m catching a cold! D: *blows runny nose into tissue*

This is going to be a short entry! I just got back Tuesday night from my trip to Greece! It was a lovely trip :) I stayed in Santorini for 3 nights and Athens for 4 nights. Omg Santorini <3 More on that next time! But yes, flying was tough. Basically I went from Toronto to Milan, Milan to Athens, Athens to Santorini, then Santorini to Athens, then Athens to London, and London back to Toronto!

And the flying doesn’t stop there! I’m heading to New York in a few hours (should probably pack. Probably 8D) for PERFUME’S CONCERT AHHHHHHHHHHH! I’m super hyped about it! My friends and I will be in their 1mm PV dresses and we’ll be spontaneously dancing while we’re waiting in line! Here’s a little preview: http://rinotou.deviantart.com/art/Perfume-1mm-484961439 ^.^ This time we’ll have the complete outfits! With earrings as well! :D If you spot us, come say hi! :D :D :D! Hopefully it won’t be too cold @.@!

So yes, within these 2 weeks of my vacation I’ll have gone on a plane 8 times >.> Yeesh. Flying is super tiring >< I’ll blog about both adventures separately when I get back 8D!

James Bond: The Music

Omg, I’m going to be in PARIS today next week! But before that…

I went to the James Bond orchestral music concert last night with Andrew! He got the tickets from his mom for Christmas, and she said they were for both of us o.o Aw man, all the orchestral concerts I’ve been to have either been paid by Andrew or his mom. MUST PAY THEM BACK SOMEHOW.

So yep, after work yesterday (which surprisingly went by at a decent speed because I had lots of stuff to do) my dad was supposed to drive me to Finch station but he needed to get something from home, so we went back home o.o I changed my shoes and also nommed a slice of pizza before leaving (I felt boots were not very concert-appropriate). I arrived at Finch station at around 6:45pm, and after a 1 minute of panic because the escalators down to the subway were fenced off, I remembered there’s a way down on the outside haha XD! Clearly I do not have enough adventures on my own.

The subway ride was uneventful and I arrived at St. Andrew station (haha XD!) at around 7:20. I wanted to exit the station and walk to Roy Thompson Hall when I noticed they had an underground tunnel thing! So I followed that and escaped the cold ^_^ Met up with Andrew and we just chilled until the concert started. The building is pretty neat :)

Don’t want to sound like a nerd, but I really do enjoy watching an orchestra perform live. The program wasn’t really to my liking (the very first piece they played was the classic James Bond theme and it was the best in my opinion) because I’m not very familiar with the movies and have not heard the soundtrack, but it was still nice to watch. We got decent seats and had a nice view. The concert also featured 2 singers who were making their Toronto Symphony Orchestra debut, so that was a little something different. Intermission was 45 minutes after and while Andrew ran around to find a washroom I succumbed to temptation and bought myself a mini bar of Lindt milk chocolate. Sighhhhhhh I keep telling myself every single day NO MORE SWEET AND SUGARY THINGS because apparently it’s not a good thing to ingest while I am on my Chinese medication. But nooooooo I have a sweet tooth. Then I found Andrew and made him buy another pack of chocolate (dark chocolate with orange =w=)

It was around 10 when the concert finished, and then Andrew waited with me while my parents came down to pick me up. It took them a little longer than usual because of the traffic the Blue Jays game caused, and it took longer to get home as well. Poor Andrew had to wait like 50 minutes for his next GO train T_T I sorries ;__; I wanted to go back to Hamilton with him but MOTHER NATURE SAYS OTHERWISE oh how I despise you.

And now to…be a hobo for the rest of the day. I hope my 50% cold goes away before my trip.

Distant Worlds 2012

It should just be assumed all the blogs I write are a few days late or something.

I went to see Distant Worlds (again!) with Andrew and my friends yesterday :) (EDIT: 2 days ago because Thav distracted me with a video and I couldn’t click the publish button on time). My parents drove me to Eaton’s at around 5, then shopped a little bit at the Forever 21 across the street while waiting for Andrew, who was taking the GO train from Hamilton. We found each other (haha, sounds like a love story) at 5:30, and then went to the nearby Hard Rock Cafe for noms before the concert at 8pm. Waited like 20 minutes for our table, and found out they had forgotten to call us -_- Either way, good dinner :3 I only had salad because I ate ramen and a salmon handroll at like 3:30 haha. Mmm, we finished eating at around 7 me thinks, and then headed to the subway for Distant Worlds! On our way we bumped into Harris and Annie, and good thing we did, because neither Andrew or I knew the way 100% XD! Got to the Sony Centre at around…7:40 me thinks! And we headed in and spotted Brandon and Phil and some of their friends :3 Didn’t chat long though because we had to go find our seats. We were all in the wonderful mezzanine, and Andrew and I sat on the right side, pretty close to our seats last time XD!

So the concert itself was awesome as usual :) The prelude they opened up with I thought was a little shaky, especially with the choir, but maybe they were nervous. The opera could have been better also. Though I did like the FF-14 music. The crowd was definitely not as enthusiastic as last time, but there was also a lot less people (saw a good 6 rows of empty seats on the first floor). Either way, good day it was :3 The concert ended at like…10:20pm O_O 40 minutes than what I thought, and I had told my parents to pick me up at 11:30, so I dragged my friends over to the merchandise stand to fill time (we were getting kicked out, but I told the dude we were in line for merchandise so he left us alone XD!). None of us were planning to buy anything…but I ended up buying a shirt D: And Andrew, Brandon and Philip all got CDs O_O I’m giving the shirt I bought to Andrew, though haha XD! Hope he doesn’t see this until I sneak it in his bag *ahem*

Hmmm…and April has begun. Wow. What am I going to do after I graduate…sigh. Oh well, won’t think about that now. AngeL’s visiting me on Tuesday and I seriously can’t wait to just chill and hang out with her hehe XD! I bought this Wipple deluxe thing from Winner’s and I really can’t wait to give it a try! You guys can Google it up. It’s like a cream thing that dries hard so you can make fake desserts with it. I saw YouTube videos of the product a while back and ever since I’ve wanted to buy it, but had always thought it was only sold in Japan. GUESS I WAS WRONG OH HO HO HO HO 8D! Alright, going to proceed to cleaning my room again.

Monkey Majik Concert

MONKEY MAJIK CONCERT. OMG. OMG. AHHHHHHHH! THEY’RE AMAZING LIVE. Frig. They sound exactly like the recordings. TOO AWESOME. They didn’t play too many songs, BUT THEY DID PLAY ‘TOGETHER’, AND THAT’S MY FAVOURITE <3 AND THEY PLAYED A NEW SONG THEY HAVEN’T PLAYED ANYWHERE YET CALLED UFO YES. I feel special.

Okay. So recap! I woke up at around 9:10 this morning, quickly ate my steroids, and then took a shower. I was supposed to go kidnap Michelle at 11 and then meet up with Thavisha at 11:30 at Fairview Mall to subway down to Eaton’s together, but Michelle’s dad gave her a last minute errand to do, and she said to go on ahead :( So my dad drove just me instead, and I met up with Thavisha at aounnd noon and then we subway-ed down :) I ended up at Forever 21 and did some shopping haha while Thavisha went to Ryerson to print his confirmation for tickets! I also bought my first make up product! It’s eyeliner because I’m taking my graduation photo on Tuesday :) It was only $1.50 (compared to $20 at Sephora, says Aarathi) so why not? Sarah, Aarathi and Andrew met up with us also, and we went to Spring Rolls for lunch :) Ronnie joined us later, and I was hoping Michelle would too, but she was still far away so we told her to meet us at Eglinton Station instead. After we met up with her, and after I decided to be a rebel and eat a Cinnabon, we took the bus to JCCC~

We arrived at…around 5? 4:50? Either way, we were really early. Ticket pick up opened at 5:30, so we just stood there until then. DID I MENTION THIS CONCERT WAS FREEEEE!? You had to reserve the tickets online, and I didn’t reserve any, but each person could reserve two, so Thavisha gave me one :D! I know Michelle and Aarathi had an extra as well~ Once we got our tickets, we had some food at JCCC because there were already people lining up for the concert (doors open at 7:30, and the actual concert starts at 8pm), and the seats were first come first serve. So we sat in line until then ahaha! We had phones to entertain us and occasionally went to get more food. The bread they sell at JCCC has alcohol in it o.o IT WAS YUMMY THOUGH! Haha, anyway.

SO YEAH. THE CONCERT. 4TH ROW MAN. SO FRIGGEN CLOSE. Omg, my ears were dying during the first song, but then I think I got used to it. SERIOUSLY Monkey Majik is FANTASTIC LIVE. Sarah was going crazy beside me the whole time haha! I haven’t heard all their songs yet so I wasn’t as hyper, but then I was going crazy too when they played “Together”, which is such a happy and pick-me-up song :)

SO I MANAGED TO GET A DRUMSTICK. OMG. I WAS TRYING TO CATCH THE GUITAR PICKS THEY WERE THROWING BUT I COULDN’T. AND THEN THE DRUMSTICK CAME. I ACCIDENTALLY WHACKED IT BEHIND ME AND I WAS LIKE NOOOOOOO and  this lady picked it up, gave it to the man beside her, AND THEN I GAVE HIM REALLY WIDE AND CRAZY EYES AND HE GAVE ME THE DRUMSTICK OMGGGGGGGG YES YES YES.

So. Good day? I THINK YES :D! Forgive me while I cut this blog short to listen to some Monkey Majik :)
